Sous ce modèle se cache un Acmel-MD, fabriqué par Anasuma, depuis le milieu des années 80. Il est intéressant de constater que cet appareil sera également intégré à la gamme Minox un peu plus tard (1998), sous le nom de Minox MX.
L'appareil était livré en coffret, accompagné de son flash dédié.
